The snow was beautiful, most of the state shut down. The television stations were already announcing closings on Tuesday while there was no sign of what was coming, except for the weather map on the TV. It was a monster, it's rare for the entire state to have snow all at the same time. It happened. Two days later Mr. Sunshine was beaming and snow was melting, life was back to normal.
I was really hoping the snow would wait just twentyfour hours, like I would have some say in that matter....didn't happen. The same day it snowed was to be my second "At Work" Weight Watchers class in Little Rock. That class didn't happen, in fact the city offices closed. So the class will be made up at the end of the class series. At Work classes go for a ten week period. If the company wishes to renew toward the end of the ten weeks then the class will continue. Out of four weeks we've met three times, the class is a great group of members and I look forward to seeing them each week to see how they are doing. I've also accepted a second At Work class and that class will start March 4th.
The Weight Watchers class I've been working on getting started in Sheridan will be happening soon. I needed sixty signatures, I have near seventy with more coming in. I have the place, the time and the day of the week all decided but have to wait to announce all that. I need a receptionist for the class and a wonderful young lady is about to start training for that position. As soon as she is ready, we will move ahead.
Yesterday the weather put on another show. This time instead of snow we had rain and wind and tornado watches. I much prefer snow to all of that. At least snow is beautiful. Our yard and plants loved the rain. The temps today are lower 50's with a breeze but all is calm, the sun is shining again. This is what we are looking at today.

Dan is making plans for landscaping the yard, moving flowers, planting hedges, other plans he won't tell me just what.....says it is a surprise. Now, he has my attention. I think there's something in there about a firepit and a sitting area.....Oh, I hope so. I miss the campfires we use to have while camping. I can see it now....a brisk evening, a small fire, sunset.......then out of the still, quiet, KD takes off barking at a person walking by. That's OK, it's her yard, her territory, her domain and she protects it well.
Dan is out in his shop.....maybe I should go peak in and see what's happening. At least today the sun is shining....a great day for yard work. Hummmmm!

Hyacinths and daffodils - thanks for the reminder. Spring is coming. We like being here in the desert for a while but I sure miss GREEN.
Way to go on the WW jobs.
Just wait ten minutes and the weather will change is a saying up here as well.
Sounds like you're a busy lady these days!
Your flowers give me hope that maybe spring will come to Ohio, too! You really didn't have to share that blizzard with us, though. I had some scary moments on the road today but all's well that ends well!
Our niece arrived from TX Thursday night, barely ahead of the snow. She's at my sister's but we'll see her tomorrow and Sunday so we're happily anticipating that.
Glad that the WW meetings are going well. Keep 'em in stitches and they'll keep coming back!
Love ya!
Karon, found out my cousin Mary Ellen for two years led a WW class in Sheridan--how coincidental is that!!
I can't wait for spring; thanks for sharing the beautiful snow pictures:)
Very Interesting blog. I am now a follower. I thought you might want to check out Paradox Principles as well.
All the best, Bob West
