I've always believed things happen for a reason. Sometimes we aren't sure why something is going the way it is untill further down the road. With that being said.....there is a reason we are still sitting at Ancira in Boerne waiting.....I'm not sure, yet, what the reason is but I'm sure in due time I will know. When I learn what it is I'll be sharing that little detail with you.
Yesterday I marched, OK, I walked into the service office and they paged our tech for me. He came in right away. We are all getting to be on first name basis around here. I told him I wanted him to tell me everything he knew. I got a crazy look. I said OK, narrow it down to details on a kitchen faucet and a TV that is floating around somewhere in Texas. Turns out the TV parts and the faucet are coming, maybe by the end of this week. I'm a patient person but this is pushing it. Maybe I'm not a patient person after all. I've been kidding myself all this time. Who knew?
One thing that is happening tomorrow....maybe this is why we are waiting so long....we are having new tires put on the motorhome. Now if you think that doesn't blow a hole in the budget, budget......what's that!!!!!!!.......... you haven't checked RV tire prices lately. Speedy, save us a spot on that porch for sure. I'm telling you!!!! Make space for us and we will compare notes on how to do this lifestyle on a non-budget. Oh, there's that word again. Life goes on. Seriously, I think the tires look good, but what do I know. DH was told not to put this rig on a long trip until the tires are replaced. What!!! We just drove from the Colorado Rockies and now they tell us. OK, if we are going to make a mistake it will be in the margin of our safety. Sitting on the roadside waiting for a tow truck is not my idea of fun. I do have better things to do.
Like now.....I'm sitting here going crazy. You would think I would do my blog everyday, but I really don't want to bore anyone to death. It's hard enough on us.
So far, we have promoted ourselves to the night and weekend security, grounds keepers and trash pickup. We really are a sight. I told DH we should hide in one of the half million dollar motorhomes and see if they can find us. They lock every single rig every night and unlock them every morning. I guess the guy on the short list of not so favorite employees gets that lucky job. Hummmm! Maybe I could volunteer for that job. Oh, they would probably think I was scouting out a new TV. We have joked with our tech about taking a flat screen out of one of their rigs. It would take them a while to figure it out. Now, we would never do that but you have to admit it would create quite a stir. See, I told you we are going crazy. It is bad when one starts dreaming up not so legal activities.
Before I get myself in trouble, I'll just go now and read something, again, for the umpteenth time. Someday I'll look back on this and laugh............I hope!!!!

I can't believe you're still at Ancira! It's time to put your foot down and tell them enough is enough! But like you said, there's a reason for everything... Hang in there!
Miss you and love you,
Ellie
It sure was good to have you in the chatroom, that took up a bit of time. Good luck in getting out of there quickly.
Hey...come on over to my porch. I will have to do a lot of setting and I haven't bought the first set of tires. Geee I hope I find places that have a lot to see for free...maybe a lot of hiking??? Whatever...hope you get fixed soon and get to go do something before you crack up...LOL

You just can't sit too long or they will think you are part of the fixtures...Hope you are out of there soon....
